Meet Dr. David D. Shin, DDS, MSD
Dr. David Shin is grateful to be given the opportunity to provide orthodontic care to his patients. Growing up, he was very fearful of the dentist and even had orthodontics twice due to complications. You would have never found him willingly in the dental office then! Today, he strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered, and evidenced-based care in a comfortable environment.
Dr. Shin is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He obtained his doctorate from the University of Washington School of Dentistry and graduated first in his class with honors. He was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received various awards for excellence and service in the community. He finished his orthodontic residency at the University of Washington and received his Master of Science in Dentistry. Dr. Shin is a current member of national, state and local dental societies. He is an advocate of continuing education and participating in various study clubs.
In his free time, Dr. Shin enjoys going on adventures with his wife Amelia (they hiked Mount St. Helens for a sunrise summit!), and is passionate about his family, friends, and his church. He enjoys skiing, running, hiking, and serving with his church band and community events.
